Laura Anderson- Owner & Master Stylist

As a native to Austin, Crystal has seen it all! She knew from an early age that she wanted to bring joy to people's lives and decided to altend cosmetology school. Crystal has been a stylist for over 19 years. She loves stepping out of the box with fun and interesting haircuts, hair colors and styles. She still feels pride in being able to make her clients happy every day.

Alyss Johnson- Master Stylist

My name is Alyss (pronounced uh-lease). I have lived in the Austin area for over 20+ yrs and I have been doing hair for almost 9 years, all of which has been spent at The Salon. I became a stylist after going to college & realizing I needed a more creative & social career. I loved the way coming to the salon made me feel, and what a positive influence my stylist had on me, & I love that I can now give that to my clients. In recent years I have started to get involved with the continued education of our apprentices’, which has brought my career full circle given that I started at The Salon as an apprentice myself. “Choose a job you love, & you will never work a day in your life.” -Confucius

Cindy Saucedo- Master Stylist

Cindy has been in the hair industry for about 10 years. After graduating cosmetology school from Avenue Five she began her journey at The Salon. Cindy enjoys learning new techniques through hands on classes. In her free time she enjoys seeing her family and spending time with her pup.

JJ Nguyen-Master Stylist

JJ is here to change the world, one hair cut at a time. She combines over 25 years of experience and artistic vision to create signature looks her clients love. Because feeling great about how you look just might give you the confidence to take the chance that changes your life. JJ is a graduate of one of the best Cosmetology Academies in Austin and began her career as a stylist at Toni & Guy. There, she developed her signature style and quickly rose the ranks to become a sought-after stylist. JJ spent over two years as a Toni & Guy Salon Educator, during which she taught training courses on hair cutting techniques and related theory. After being in Austin for over 35 years, she practically feels like a native. JJ specializes in highlighting, balayage color, and custom haircuts.
